Day 318 has 187 protein-coding genes (browser view)¬†including a common inversion polymorphism – a region that is found “flipped” in some people. It is centered around¬†the MAPT gene.

This inversion was discovered in Iceland and found later to be widespread in Europeans but not other populations. It may have flipped multiple times in human evolution.
